ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Famous
Footwear is making it easier to get the shoes you want even faster. Free
in-store pickup is now available at the more than 1,000 Famous
Footwear locations.
Customers who use this service on famous.com,
from July 7 through 11, will receive $5 off one order containing an
in-store pickup item.
“With more than 1,000 stores across the country, customers can now shop
even more seamlessly online and in-store,” said Rick Ausick, division
president of Famous Footwear. “Giving our customers the opportunity to
pick shoes up the same day is a big plus. And with our convenient
locations, it makes it very easy. We quickly saw the success of this
program in our pilot.”
Visitors to famous.com
simply choose their store and select in-store pickup when adding items
to their cart, before completing their purchase. Once their shoes are
ready for pickup, they receive an email -- typically within two business
hours of placing an order.
“This new service allows Famous Footwear customers to buy online and
wear the same day,” added Ausick. “We think customers will really
benefit from this service as we head into the busy back-to-school
season.”
